Montessori children learn through hands-on experience, investigation and research.  Children are actively engaged in their learning, rather than rote learning and memorization.  Through the process, children develop self-discipline and motivation.  Our Montessori curriculum is carefully structured and integrated in three main subjects  – English, Chinese and Mathematics.

• Montessori Language (English)
  
A unique, multi-sensory approach to the development of language skills, including reading and writing skills through phonics, sandpaper letters, stories and multiple language learning experiences.

• Montessori Language (Chinese)
  
Upon identifying the individual weakness of learning the Chinese Language, this program aims to scaffold and improve the Chinese learning power of the child. By exposing the child to wide varieties of interesting topics; it encourages the child to read widely and thus speed up their language development. The course aims to equip the children the skills for skimming and scanning for information in a passage and to interpret meaning from text.

• Montessori Mathematics
  
To prepare the understanding of basic mathematical concepts (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, etc.) through activity-based programmes that encourages learning in an exciting way.

• Cultural & Thematic Studies
  
An unusual approach to explore the cultural resources of our environment from the studies of geography, history, zoology, botany and nature. For example, children learn geography through puzzles. This learning experience intrigues even the youngest children and provides a solid sensorial basis for life-long learning.

• Montessori Phonics
  (Suitable for children aged 5 to 7)
  A hands-on individualized programme to develop early literacy skills in pronunciation and word recognition.
  

• English Reading Programme
  (Suitable for children aged 5 to 7))
  A personalized programme to motivate and cultivate the love for reading.

• Creative Writing Programme
  (Suitable for children aged 6 to 8)
  Just like a carpenter with his tools, good writing begins with good tools.  Children will be introduced to the basic elements of writing: recognize parts of speech, have fun with word order, make great sentences and come up with witty, colourful descriptions and breeze their way through punctuation.  Best of all, children will find writing fun, stimulating and enjoyable.

• Speech & Drama
  (Suitable for children aged 3 to 5)
  This is a great course to lay the foundation for future drama programmes, with concentration on fun-filled drills in voice techniques and exercises, drama games and activities through structured thematic play. It helps to build confidence for the shy and learn the importance of teamwork, social skills and self-discipline.
  

• Chinese and Malay Enrichment
  (Suitable for children aged 5 to 12)
  Learning language should be fun and engaging. The activity-based learning aims to cultivate the love of the language through lively delivery of lessons and language games. The new and fun way of learning encourages spoken language in a relaxed environment and transforms the classroom into a pleasurable place for interaction and learning.

• Smart Science
  (Suitable for children aged 5 to 12)
  In collaboration with Ascend International, this programme allows students to grasp the fundamental of Science concepts through a series of hands-on activities and experiments. It aims to cultivate the interest in learning and reinforces Science knowledge.

• Smart Mathematics
  (Suitable for children aged 5 to 12)
  This was created to allow students to learn in an encouraging environment. It emphasizes on training of logical thinking skills and problem solving tactics. With the integration of advance pedagogical methods, it allows students to have a better understanding of mathematical concepts.
